Anne Phung Nguyen

Anne Phung Nguyen is my name and I'm a Vietnamese American Entrepreneur living in Orange County California. My amazing fiance JP, and my happy-go-lucky Dad Henry are also part of our clan. My Instagram account @annephung is where the majority of my followers are. I share my day-to-day life, both the good and the bad. At the age of 1 year old my family, me and my parents immigrated into America. If it wasn't due to the dedication of my parents, I wouldn't exist today to share the journey with the world. So that they could give their children an opportunity to live a successful future, I focused on achieving success and put in the effort in order to reach it. There was a specific plan for me in life: go to university and get a corporate job get married buy the house, and then have kids. This was my vision of what it would take to be successful. However, life was not so keen on my plans. The year was 2013, and I discovered that I didn't like going to work at my corporate job. Money and status did inspire me. I felt like I was wasting time for a paycheck. The passion I have for fitness as well as my desire to socialize with people helped me pursue a new career as an instructor. In 2014, I launched my own business, and in the 2021 will see me celebrating my 7th birthday. It's rare to meet an Asian female in the business. As an instructor, my aim is to encourage others and empower them to live a healthier and happy life by creating sustainable lifestyles that cater to the individual's goals and needs. In addition, I wish for people to feel empowered to follow their dreams and accomplish whatever they want throughout their lives. When I began my professional career, the death of my mom was the most devastating blow to my life. She fought a long and arduous battle with Scleroderma and now rests in Heaven as well as with me in my thoughts and heart always. Life really does have the ability to provide us with the exact thing we require even if we are unable to comprehend the lesson in the time. In so many ways, my mother's passing affected me in many ways. I honestly believe that she provided me with another chance to experience her loss. She died on Tet/Lunar New Year Day. It was the day she decided to begin her new life. I was given a second chance at living an enjoyable and fulfilling life. What I'm experiencing in my 30s is an experience of awe and vitality. It feels like I'm truly living and not just existing. When I share my experience I hope that my story will be a source of inspiration for yours. It is my wish that my words can aid you in understanding that you're not alone. I believe that you are blessed with the capacity to succeed in anything that your heart desires. I pray that you live your life to the fullest and that you die without regrets as dying is the only thing promised to us in our life.
