Bill Self has been a Basketball coach for more than 50 years. Bill Self was born in Okmulgee, Oklahoma State, United States on the 27th of December 1962. Tyler is his son. as well as Lauren Lauren were the first names of both Self's children. Self was raised in the Okmulgee area in which his father was the basketball girls' coach at Morris High School. Self was awarded a scholarship to play basketball in Oklahoma State University. The school provided letters of recommendation all four years. In 1985 he graduated with an undergraduate degree in business, and, in 1989, he earned an athletic management degree in the state of Oklahoma State. Bill is among the most successful Basketball Coaches from United States. Self's net worth is estimated at $10 million according to Business Insider and Forbes. Self was named the head basketball coach of Illinois in June 2000. Self's coach before him, Lon Kruger, was leaving Illinois to take a new position as Atlanta Hawks head coach in the NBA.
